Dress Code

Answer

For the wedding/reception, dress code is "dressy-casual" - think sun dresses, etc. For shoe selection, please note there is crushed stone/gravel on a lot of the site.

Food / Groceries

Answer

There will be dinner served on Friday and Saturday nights, and we will have extra cases of water and snacks at the venue for everyone! Lakes End restaurant is nearby and Nantahala Outdoor Center restaurant is about 30 minutes away (NOC is a great restaurant option if you plan to go white water rafting around there). We recommend stopping at a grocery store on your way in before heading up the mountain since all grocery stores are a good 30-minute drive away.

Ride Share Services

Answer

There are no ride-share services in this neck of the woods, so plan to drive. Most lodging is within walking distance or a short drive and there is plenty of parking at the venue!

There is very little phone service in this area, but lodging and the venue will have wifi to connect to.

PARKING @ THE VENUE

Answer

When you arrive at the venue, park in the area to the left of the "Nantahala Weddings" sign. Make sure to park perpendicular to the road. If you are unable to walk up the 300-foot path to the ceremony, there will be a “Shuttle Stop” sign and a bench set up in the half-circle parking lot for you. Wait there until the 4WD Polaris arrives to take you to the ceremony.
