Maid of Honor
Riley has been by my side throughout college and into our adult lives of starting full time jobs and now working along side each other at BRAAC. Riley and I lived in the same quad our freshman year, then became roommates and community group leaders, to eventually moving off campus into an apartment! Riley is one of those people that I never get tired of being around. Riley is funny, loyal, caring, and a great listener. She is someone I can always depend on. She is also a very godly influence in my life; she is always available to share words of honesty and wisdom.
Matron of Honor
Katie is my light-hearted, hilarious cousin. Katie is a few years older than me and has always been someone I looked up to. She has taught me a lot about life, relationships, and confidence. She is a loving wife and dog mom. Katie is fun and joyful and always knows how to make me laugh. I was lucky enough to be her maid of honor and now I'm so excited for her to be a part of Eric and I's big day!
Bridesmaid
Regan has been in a constant in my life since middle school. Regan is and will always be one of my best, closest friends, even when we go months without seeing each other, we still pick up where we left off. Regan was by my side for most of my fondest memories of middle school and high school. She has always pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, to try new things and be spontaneous. She is loyal, kind, and hilarious as well as a phenomenal mother and wife. Regan and I used to talk about being in each other’s weddings when we were younger and I’m so excited her to be a part of Eric and I’s special day!
Bridesmaid
Whitley is a long time friend, we have known each other since we were 6! We got super close in high school, walking dogs together, getting coffee together, going to concerts, and jamming to music in the car together. Then we were roommates our freshmen year at Liberty University. Whitley has always been an encourager in my life, she has stuck by my side and always made me feel seen and heard. She truly values all relationships in her life and puts in effort to keep in touch. She is a God-fearing woman that I know I can always turn to whenever I need a friend.
Bridesmaid
Moriah and I met our freshmen year at Liberty University. While living in the dorms together, we attended hall events, games, and convo, babysat together, went to a last minute Panic at the Disco concert, and spent a lot of late nights laughing and getting to know each other better. In the past few years after not living together on campus, I got to see how intentional and caring of a person Moriah is. She is one of the most independent and strongest women I have been blessed to know. She is such a reliable and loyal friend as well as an amazing mother.
Best Man
Zach has been a good friend of mine since early elementary years. Growing up we would have fun playing wiffleball, baseball, and playing kickball during recess. We were teammates on the varsity soccer team and baseball team and never had a shortage of good times together. Besides athletics, we also had many memories playing in band as well as the pep band, loving every minute of sweating out those high notes and trying to hold our band program together.
Groomsman
Nate and I go back to the middle school years when he transferred to New Life Academy. One of the best to play for our soccer program he was always an easy choice to pass the ball off to. Famous hat-trick scorer against Southwest Christian Academy, he essentially ascended to legend status at New Life from then on. If you get the chance, ask him how he ran the Madden Mobile economy back in the high school years, or how he studied the intricacies of Flappy Golf.
Groomsman
Dave and I moved in together my freshman year of college, and since then we have lived together four out of the last five years. Dave is an ex-D2 and intramural goalkeeper, providing the highlight of my lowlight-filled intramural career with a game winning save in a postseason game, our first and final postseason win in 4 years of play. Dave is working towards his pro-card in the PGA and runs a local golf course as the general manager.
Groomsman
I met JP my junior year of college and lived with him for a year. JP is the best craftsman I know, welding and woodworking as a side hobby. He has a wife, Cassidy, and a Dachshund, named Beanie. If there was ever a person to go to Smith Mountain Lake for a day with, it would be him. Having access to free ice cream from a local boat ice scream shop, he has my eternal envy.
Groomsman
Phillip and I met my junior year of college when we moved in together and instantly I was immersed in deep philosophical basketball knowledge I never knew before. An avid reader, Phillip is a published writer and has at least 15 books ready in queue to read once the current one is over. From showing me around Philadelphia to culturing me on how to cook a French omelet (I can never remember), I realized there is always more to learn around him.
