On a cruise ship in the middle of Resurrection Bay, off the coast of Seward, AK, Eric and I were looking out over the back of the boat watching a pod of humpback whales. He asked me what I liked the most about Alaska and if I thought I would spend the rest of my days here. After asking a few more questions to this effect, Eric got down on one knee and asked me if I would be his wife. I was over the moon and started squealing and jumping up and down after giving him a resounding yes!
