It was always you.

Our story starts where all great love stories begin, in the parking lot of Spartan Stadium during the 2018 MSU Homecoming tailgate. Paige's best friend from that summer's study abroad program invited her to her family's legendary MSU tailgate, and she also invited her long-time Williamston friend Eric. At that tailgate, and at the same time, we both walked up to the largest, fluffiest Alaskan Malamute that we'd ever seen (Miko!), and started casually chatting about our own dogs at home (shoutout Budward and Maggie). We both had no clue that we were guests at the same tailgate, and only figured out when our friend Sarah came running over to re-introduce us to each other. We spent the majority of the rest of the day together, and when we parted ways at the end of the night, we both texted our friend for each others numbers, because we knew it was the start of something amazing. Now, 3 apartments, 2 states, a house, and a dog later, August 14, 2026 can’t come soon enough!
