Eric and I had been working together for a year before it was made apparent to us that we were meant for each other. Who would have thought that an unexpected workplace flirt would turn into forever. While I was always adamant about steering clear of dating a coworker, I'm glad that we took a chance.

We planned a trip to Colorado for a weekend getaway. Little did I know this trip would be the best vacation ever. We had a plan to venture up Pike's Peak in Colorado Springs. Once we arrived at the top, Eric and I climbed out away from all the people to look out over the area. It was a beautiful site. Eric, being the sweet man he is, gave me a hug and told me that no matter where we were, any where he was with me is where he wants to be. Then he asked me to marry him. I was in shock. And of course. I said yes!!!
