Eric and I met in 5th grade. We sat at the same table in Mrs. Land’s class. We were friends from the start and remained friends through college. Our relationship began shortly after graduating. Eric made the first move and asked me out. Our first date was to an Atlanta United game. I didn’t want the date to end, so I asked him to grab dinner with me in Buckhead afterwards. I had seen a sports-bar-looking-place off a Marta exit but couldn’t remember its name. So I told Eric to follow me blindly, and trust that I’d take him somewhere great! Long story short, I lead him to Twin Peaks... because I had no idea Twin Peaks stood for… 'twin peaks'. Needless to say, we were both shocked. We were starving though, so we sat down, ordered a meal, and laughed 'til it hurt over the absurdities we saw. The saying is true... when you know, you know. Eric and I started dating officially on June 22nd, 2019. He moved to Downtown Lawrenceville in 2020, and we adopted our sweet doggo, Alphie shortly after. On April 3rd 2021, he proposed in Downtown Lawrenceville with our family, friends, neighbors, and Alphie as witnesses. We will be getting married on April 9th 2022 in Cleveland, GA. We are looking forward to starting our lives together soon. Thank you for celebrating this exciting season of life with us!
