Getting to Comox is not the easiest affair. You will need a passport , if you don't have one and would like to come make sure you get your application in ASAP. We all know the government completes tasks on it's own time. We suggest flying into Comox Valley Airport (YQQ). There are no direct flights so this will most likely take you to Vancouver, Seattle, Calgary, or a combination of them to get a flight into Comox. If you're making it more of a vacation we suggest flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and then book the flight to Comox when you're there. Vancouver is the Grooms favorite city, reach out if you want any suggestions on places to visit or things to do. If your renting a car you can take the ferry from the mainland to the island. The main ferry terminal will be Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. Check the ferry schedule provided by BC Ferries (https://www.bcferries.com/routes-fares/schedules). Vrbo is the most used rental for homes if this is an option you'd like to do instead of Hotel. Surrounding towns that are close by are also Courtenay, Grantham, Black Creek, Bevan, Royston. You will need a Rental to go this option. Car Rentals are on the island at the Comox Airport. Would be good to look at Expedia for discounts.
