FAQs

The Wedding Website of Margaret Kramer and Eric Huang
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 10th. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please make sure you're at the venue no later than 6pm! We'll have drinks and some beautiful NYC scenery for you to enjoy just before the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional: We ask that you please wear a suit and tie or an evening gown or cocktail dress.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love to see you and your family at any of the events surrounding the wedding, but we will be keeping our ceremony & reception just for the grown ups! If you'd like to find babysitting options for your little ones, our local friends recommend using Care.com.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll have some light refreshments and drinks to enjoy before the ceremony, followed by a relaxed dinner, with plenty of food stations to choose exactly what you'd like to eat! There will be meat, fish, vegetarian, and gluten-free/nut-free options available. We plan to keep the whole evening fun & dancey, so while we'll have a seat for each of you, we hope you can come and go as you please!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Under the "Travel" tab on the website, you can find a list of available hotel blocks. In case you'd like to find your own hotel or Airbnb, any accommodations you find in lower Manhattan or the northwest part of Brooklyn would be great options!

Question

What are the transportation options for getting to and from the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Our venue The Liberty Warehouse is right on the water in Red Hook, Brooklyn - it's beautiful, but not too close to any subway lines! We recommend taking the ferry if you'll be coming from lower Manhattan (Google Maps and Citymapper are great to use for outlining your journey!), or taking an Uber, Lyft, or other cab option to get to the venue. You'll be able to drive all the way to the doors leading you straight to the ceremony. If you plan on driving, the venue has free parking and also provides valet!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! On the "Schedule" tab of our site, you can find listed all the events around the wedding. We also hope you'll have some extra time during the weekend to enjoy the city!
