The Black Lake Conference Center is owned and operated by the UAW. In keeping with their policies, parking inside the grounds is reserved for union-made vehicles manufactured in the United States or Canada. Vehicles eligible to park inside at the Reception Center will have a VIN number beginning with 1, 2, 4, or 5. For guests whose vehicles do not meet this requirement, easy and convenient parking is available just outside the main entrance. Guests staying on site with an import vehicle are welcome to use a 30-minute unloading window at check-in and a 30-minute loading window at check-out. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. Guests with qualifying vehicles may park on the property and are kindly asked not to drive around the grounds and instead use the complimentary shuttle service. Shuttles run daily from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and are handicap- and wheelchair-accessible. To call for a shuttle, guests just need to dial ‘0’ from any house phone in the hotel or call the Front Desk via the main number (989)733-8521 to request a shuttle pickup at their location.
