Lin and Eric met in the cafeteria of Silicon Valley Christian Assembly in March 2022 during a church anniversary clean-up. Eric noticed Lin's father wearing a Cal hat (Go Bears!) and came up to introduce himself to Mr. Zhu. However, Mr. Zhu could not speak very good english, and indicated in Chinese that it was actually his daughter that went to Berkeley. All of a sudden, Lin entered the scene and appeared in Eric's life out of nowhere. šš»š Go Bears!
