Eric and Lexi first crossed paths in 2018 on a volleyball court. During one of the games, the ball rolled under a pine tree. Lexi couldn’t reach it, but Eric quickly grabbed it for her— though he swears she gave him the “well…? go get it” look. Either way, it was the start of something special. What began with a simple assist turned into seven years filled with love, adventure, and a whole lot of patience. Their relationship grew through long-distance chapters: Eric’s deployments, Lexi’s move to Nashville, and Eric’s time in school in Fargo. No matter the miles, they always found their way back to each other. Their first date was perfectly them—Lexi’s favorite sushi spot followed by Incredibles 2, where they learned they shared not only a sense of humor but the same taste in comfort food and cozy nights. Today, life looks a little different than those early days, but even sweeter. Their home is filled with laughter, warmth, and two of the cutest pups anyone could ask for: Luna and Skye. And now, after years of growing together, they’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter—finally saying “I do.”
