We met at our friend's wedding in Virginia in 2018 (thanks Tay & Micky!). Eric was a groomsman and Leor was a bridesmaid. Several tequila sunrises later, we knew we'd hit it off. We didn't know if we'd see each other again because Leor was living in San Diego and Eric in DC. Three weeks later, to everyone's surprise, Eric got on a plane to San Diego. We had an amazing 72 hour first date and have been together ever since!

We had planned a trip to Israel in 2021 to meet Leor's family, but as we all learned during the pandemic, those plans changed. One year later, we finally made it to Tel Aviv for a few nights to ourselves before introducing Eric to the big extended family. One morning, we took stand up paddle boards out on the water and Eric got down on one knee on the board & proposed. Luckily, no rings were dropped in the Mediterranean Sea!
