What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding and reception is Beach Casual. Beach Casual is defined as: For Women: "Opt for a simple sundress, breezy maxi dress, or high-quality romper. While dressy sandals are acceptable, avoid standard, beachwear flip flops." For Men: Per the dress code of the Surf Club, men must wear a collared shirt and long pants. Jeans are not permitted.

Are children invited?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

What is the plan in case of inclement weather?

Answer

We have also reserved the ballroom at the Surf Golf and Beach Club in case of rain, wind, or other events out of our control that could push the wedding inside.

Will there be transportation to the various wedding events?

Answer

The area of the beach where the ceremony will be held is located behind the house. There are public parking lots at the 9th and 11th Ave beach accesses that can be used for a small fee. We will also have shuttles available to and from the Surf Club where dinner will be held to the house if you would prefer to leave a car there for free. From dinner to Ducks for dancing and celebrating, we will be hiring buses to transport guests who wish to join.
