Eric and I met when we were young, but it wasn’t until senior year of high school that everything truly changed when we grew close through track. Between practices, meets, long conversations after workouts, and cheering each other on, our friendship turned into something deeper. What started as spending more time together quickly became late-night talks, nonstop laughter, and a connection that felt easy and natural. Senior year became our favorite chapter. From school days to track meets, first dates, and dreaming about the future, we realized we weren’t just best friends, we were falling in love. Then life took us into a new season, and I went off to college. Suddenly we were learning how to love each other from a distance. Between busy schedules, FaceTime calls, exams, and chasing our dreams, we discovered what real commitment meant. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it. College taught us independence, but it also showed us how strong we were together. Through every challenge and milestone, we grew not only as individuals, but as partners, learning how to support one another and choose each other every day. From high school track practices to college chapters and everything in between, we didn’t just fall in love once. We’ve continued to choose love over and over again. Now, after years of growing together, laughing together, and building a life side by side, we’re ready to begin our greatest chapter yet as husband and wife. High school sweethearts. Best friends. Forever.
