Great spot for drinks and food right in the heart of downtown. We love the restaurants inside - Ultreia, Stoic and Genuine and Mercantile. Our favorite cocktails are upstairs at Cooper Lounge!

Chief Mountain Trailhead

This was our first ever sunrise hike. Not a bad drive from Denver and a shorter, moderate hike. 2.8 miles, but it will get your blood pumping as you make your way to the peak.

Rocky Mountain National Park

If you're staying in Colorado for a bit, don't miss RMNP. Only 1.5 hours from Denver and one of our favorite places in the state! Check out Bear Lake, Alberta Falls, and Emerald Lake for easier, but amazing hikes. Driving through the park is also gorgeous. Estes Park is one of our favorite mountain towns! Keep in mind that the park requires visitors to make reservations. Timed entry slots for all of July go on sale June 1st at recreation.gov

Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center

Just south of Castle Rock you can check out Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We did an electric bike tour here and it was a blast!
