Romans 8:28 is the scripture upon which this union has been built. If you’re unfamiliar with it, don’t worry—it simply reminds us that for those who love God and walk in His will, all things work together for their good. This has been the foundation of Kayla and EJ’s journey. From the days of innocent friendship, through the “we like each other but won’t admit it” stage, to that special first date on January 22nd, 2024, where they first decided they were for each other—both the beautiful moments and the challenges have woven together to bring them here. There were times of deep connection, like late-night FaceTime movie sessions when distance kept them apart, and yes—even moments when they shared their burdens early on, laying their hearts bare. There were rough patches, and there were seasons of pure joy. But through it all, one thing remained unshaken: giving up was never an option.
