There are 12 bridges that span the Willamette River but only the Tillicum allows access to buses, trains, streetcars cyclists and pedestrians but not cars.  Great views from either side of the river. FREE

Kayak the Willamette River

There are 58 breweries in Portland.  Chances are there is one near your hotel or Airbnb.  Ask Katie (or any Kalk) for recommendations.

Drink a beer!

Got an extra day? Go east! Hike to the top or just view this magnificent waterfall from its base.  Drive to the Vista House for a stunning view of the Columbia River Gorge from Crown Point.

Try Neahkahnie Mt. near Manzanita Beach ( about 14 miles south of Cannon Beach). Hikes from 3 to 8 miles with spectacular coastline views.

Got an extra day? Go south! The Willamette Valley, one of the premier Pinot Noir - producing areas in the world.  Head to Historic downtown McMinnville (be sure to check out the eccentric McMenamins Hotel and rooftop bar).
