Where do I fly out of and into?

Answer

Pending your location, most guests will fly out of St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Guests will fly into Cancun International Airport.

When should I fly into and out of Cancun?

Answer

Guests rooms open on Wednesday, October 15th with check out being Sunday, October 19th. You can arrive as early as you like on Wednesday.

How do I get to Isla Mujeres from the Cancun airport?

Answer

You will need to arrange transportation from the airport to the ferry. CARM transfers is the company recommended. You have the option to purchase ferry tickets with your transfer. This is HIGHLY recommended. Not using CARM? Not a problem. You will need transportation from the airport to the Puerto Juarez terminal. You can purchase ferry tickets at the dock. The ferry departs every 30 minutes. Uber is not available. There will be taxi drivers upon exiting the Cancun airport that will gladly take you to Puerto Jurez terminal for double or triple the cost. Kate will have a spread sheet of when guests plan to arrive. Please let her know if you would like to split a shuttle with guests.

How do I get to the wedding venue from the UltraMar ferry?

Answer

When you arrive on Isla Mujeres, there is a Taxi Stand to the left of the Ferry Terminal. All taxis on the island are red. Taxis can carry up to 4 people with their luggage and should cost $150 pesos ($7.50 USD) per taxi. You can get to the wedding venue by the house name of Hacienda Caribe.

Do I need to bring peso's?

Answer

Locals prefer peso over USD (United States Dollar), USD is widely accepted. You can preorder pesos at your bank or exchange them at the ferry dock. The exchange rate is high at the ferry compared to your bank. It is recommended you bring $1 bills for tips throughout your trip.

How do I rent a golf cart?

Answer

Please let Kate know 1 month in advance if you would like to rent a golf cart for your stay. The going rate is $88 USD a day. Having a golf cart allows you to explore the island! This would be a great investment for your stay. Once you have confirmed your arrival time, the golf cart will be delivered to you. Golf carts can be delivered to the ferry or the house you will be staying in. ***This company does like to be paid in peso. We will let you know the total before your arrival.***
