Lì Xì

The Wedding Website of Karis Sadler and Eric Lam
VIETNAMESE WEDDING TRADITIONS We are so happy for everyone to be able to join us for this special occasion. We will be following the Vietnamese gifting tradition of "lì xì". On the day of our celebration, guests may offer an envelope as a wedding gift, symbolizing heartfelt wishes for our good luck, happiness, and prosperity in marriage. The "lì xì" represents support and blessings as we embark on this new beginning in our life together. During the reception, we will also honor the Vietnamese tradition called "chào bàn", which translates to "hello table". The bride and groom visit each table to personally thank guests for being part of the celebration. At this time, guests may present their envelope gifts and blessings to the couple. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift always, thank you for sharing our day. With our gratitude, Karis & Eric
