Kaili first met Eric at church on Easter of 2023. He was the A.D of Youth at the time, and they met for coffee to discuss the possibility of Kaili becoming a volunteer. It was clear from the start that they shared a natural chemistry and love for odd conversations. More coffee hangs happened and the time they spent talking got longer and longer. Eventually Eric asked Kaili on an official date, but then she immediately left for 3 weeks to go on a cruise to Europe. Upon returning, their first date was a nice dinner and game night that would serve as the foundation for a deep and life-giving friendship they now have. They thrifted, hiked, traveled, and took LOTS of naps-- realizing they would be more than okay to do this together forever. December 6th, 2024 Eric proposed to Kaili (with a ring pop) on the mountaintop they hike to every Wednesday morning to do devotionals together. Kaili and Eric are so excited to spend their lives together serving God, making memories, and staying best friends. They cannot wait to celebrate this joyous occasion with you!
