When and where is the wedding?

The wedding will be held at Fishermen's Inn, Elburn, IL. on July 24th, 2026.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we are both teachers and love working with kids, this will be an adults only celebration so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Guests are expected to wear formal attire (floor length elegant dress, jumpsuit/pants suit, jacket and tie, or traditional suit)

Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

Nope! One of our favorite parts about Fishermen's Inn is the variety of areas throughout the property, each offering its own unique atmosphere that almost makes them feel like separate venues. Both the ceremony and reception will be held on the grounds.

Have you reserved room blocks at any hotels?

Answer

While there is no official hotel block, there is a link with special rates for our wedding in the travel tab of the website.

Are plus ones welcome?

Answer

Guests who are allowed a plus one have an indication on their invite. Unless it is stated on your invitation, no plus ones are welcome. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact the bride or groom!

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, but parking is limited so we recommend carpooling if possible.

Will there be a photographer present?

Answer

Yes! We have hired the amazing Rachael Watson to take photos for our wedding. That being said, please refrain from trying to take pictures during the ceremony, she will get all the ones we will need! :)
