What days should I come?

Answer

You are welcome to stay any length you would like! (2 nights min) Wedding day is Saturday, May 3rd and the welcome cruise party is May 2nd.

What is included in my room?

We have not chosen an all inclusive resort, meaning all food/drinks (including alcoholic beverages) are excluded w/your room price.

What should I pack for UAE travel?

Answer

Due to the region's intense heat, it's crucial that you pack essentials like sunscreen, a hat, or even a sun umbrella.

What language do they speak in the UAE

Answer

Most people speak English since the country’s population is very international. However, the official language in the UAE is Arabic.

Can I drink alcohol in the UAE?

Answer

Tourists are allowed to bring in 4 liters of wine or spirits, or 24 cans of beer from Dubai Duty-free. Drinks are available at hotel bars and restaurants but can be expensive.

What’s the local currency?

Answer

The Emirati Dirham (AED or DH) is the official currency of the UAE.

Do you need a visa for visiting Dubai?

Answer

US passport-holders do not need a visa to visit Dubai if you are staying for 30 days or less. All travelers from the US need to have a round-trip ticket and a passport with at least six months of validity to enter Dubai. Non US passport-holders will need to obtain a visa to visit Dubai.

Are public display of affection allowed in Dubai?

Answer

A simple act of affection such as holding hands is fine, but excessive public displays of affection are not allowed in Dubai.
