It all started with Eric being at his favorite place in the world (the Daytona 500)... When Eric first got there, he had texted me to make picks for the winner of the biggest NASCAR race of the year, which looking back, I'm pretty sure that was a test. I had never watched a NASCAR race in my life, so I took random guesses on who to pick and I just threw out a random name and he was apparently impressed. It was looking like I passed the test, when he didn't ask, but he told me I was going to meet him on East 4th, where I was living at the time, as soon as he returned home from Florida. I didn't think much of it, but little did I know, he was 100% percent serious... the Daytona 500 was postponed an entire day so he had to drive through the night from Daytona just to show up at my door at the exact time he had told me a few days prior. From that moment on, we were almost inseparable and I've been making NASCAR picks ever since
