Matt and I met in the first-grade but we didn't become friends until the 4th grade. We were carpool buddies by then and would hang out after school almost every single day. We would spend hours playing hackie-sack, soccer, Yu-Gi-Oh, Twisted Metal 2, freestyle rap, and anything else we thought was fun. There were many nights where we would prank phone call people, and by the end of it, we would be laughing so hard tears were rolling down our cheeks. For a few summers, we even had season passes to Wild Waves. Those were the days!

It was my first Sunday at St. Elizabeth's church and I was hoping to join the Lifeteen CORE leadership team. Erin, our then youth minister, introduced Julia to me since we are both from California. We hit it off right away. Little did I know that this incredible human would be there for the highs and lows of my life. Thank you for always having my back and making me laugh. I can't wait to share this day with you my Cali sister!

Tage and I started out as carpool buddies as well and lived only a few blocks away from each other. We went to the same school until college, where he, unfortunately, went off to U.W. (boo!). During the summers growing up, we were both on the swim team. After practice, you could find us throwing the football, playing video games, or just hanging out at the pool all day. Most recently, we've been sucked into the greatest quarantine hobby of all, disc golf!

He is the real OG all the way from those kindergarten years. Can you believe that we are going on 20+ years of this friendship? We grew up walking to school together, then to driving ourselves. I'll always remember the days where Jared got in the car with blue lips or how your mom found your weed in the driveway or yelling from our backyards to just say hi. We may be states away, but I know you’ll always be there. I love you Opi!

Rob is Jen’s younger brother. He has always been known for his wicked sense of humor. If you need a good laugh, he’s the guy to go see. It is crazy the amount of jokes he has at his disposal. He is also our go-to guy for anything computer related.

I met Rebecca while working at Macrina Bakery. We connected through our Mexican roots, love of 90's hip-hop, and how much we suffered those hot summer days at SoDo. I have great memories spending countless hours working and going delirious, but it didn't matter because we had each other. She is insanely talented, but also humble. I'm so lucky to call this woman a friend!

I've known Eirik since day one. Almost literally. Around the age of five, we both went to the same daycare. Him and I became friends and our sisters became friends as well so we were always at each other's houses playing. From climbing trees to mountain biking to snowboarding, if it's any type of adventure, we are ready to take it on! This one time, we thought it would be a great idea to do the 12-mile Tough Mudder and our bodies soon regretted it about 3 miles in.

The second best thing to marrying Eric is that I gain another sister! Rachel is kind, loving, and has all the jokes. I've always been the older sister, so it's exciting to be the younger one. I am so thankful for all the laughs we've shared and I cannot wait to create more. Cheers to new sisters!

Austin is Rachel’s (Eric’s sister) fiancé. He is a huge history buff and crushes answering Jeopardy questions. Don’t let his brains fool you, he’s also an avid runner and Peloton user. Each time we go to visit him and my sister in Portland, it's such a great time.
