Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is only a 15 minute Uber/Lyft/Taxi to Midtown Sacramento.

Train

Amtrak Capitol Corridor

If you're traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area, consider taking the train! It takes a lovely route along the upper stretches of the bay and through the Sacramento River Delta, arriving in downtown Sacramento at our historic train station. *Note that the train does NOT pick up in San Francisco proper--it picks up in the East Bay. Amtrak offers a connector bus between downtown San Francisco (Salesforce transit center) and the Emeryville Amtrak station. Alternatively, you can take BART from San Francisco to Richmond (transfer to Amtrak in Richmond).
