How many people will be attending?

Answer

At this time, we are expecting between 70 to 80 guests. We will keep you posted if anything changes closer to the date!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We have opted to hold an almost-exclusively outdoor wedding. Our ceremony will be hosted on the terrace overlooking the bay with a cocktail hour to follow on the deck by the boathouse. Dinner will be outdoors, while the dancing portion is taking place indoors due to a noise ordinance. We will be strictly adhering to our venue’s COVID-safe policies. There will be plenty of space to move around at Huntington Bay Club.

Will you encourage social distancing?

Answer

We can’t wait to have all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we do encourage you to refrain from handshakes, hugs or other physical contact with any guests outside of your household. We will also create a seating plan in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during dinner, and will be seating guests together with their close family and household members.

Are masks required?

Answer

While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we strongly encourage guests to wear a mask when not eating or drinking on the day. We will be supplying masks and hand sanitizer at the venue.

How will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Hors d’oeuvres will be hand passed by the wait staff. Dinner is buffet style and will be distributed by the staff. All wait staff and bar staff will be wearing masks and gloves.
