We invite you to RVSP to the wedding by mailing in the RVSP card sent with the invitation!

What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by August 30th, 2025. If you do not respond by then, you will not have a spot during the reception!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Answer
The address for the wedding ceremony is 714 NC-125, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870, which is Good News Baptist Church. The address for the reception is 800 Country Club Rd, Weldon, NC 27890, which is Chockoyotte Country Club. There is a 7 minute drive from the wedding ceremony to the reception!

Answer
There will be parking available at the church and at the country club!

Will your wedding and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding and reception will be indoors. The reception will have a cocktail hour; however, you will be able to go indoors during that hour!

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
The wedding dress code is formal wedding attire. Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial. We suggest that men wear suits in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, we're on a tight budget and have limited space, so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!”

Answer
This is an adult-only celebration, with the exception of children specifically named on the invitation.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
We will be having a charcuterie board available during the cocktail hour and the drinks will be getting started during that time! During dinner, there will be buffet-style food, such as: fried chicken, BBQ, mac and cheese, rolls, green beans, and slaw!

Answer
Yes, there will be an open bar! We will have beer and wine available during the reception!

Where should we bring our wedding gift?
Answer
The most important thing to us is that you're able to come and celebrate our wedding. However, if you wish to give a gift, we would graciously accept a contribution towards our honeymoon fund!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive an hour beforehand to be in your seats 30 to 45 minutes before the ceremony starts. While you're waiting, you can admire the ceremony decor, listen to prelude music, read your ceremony program, and acknowledge other guests!

Answer
The wedding reception will end at 11:30 pm!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
There will be an hour time gap between the wedding ceremony and the reception. There will be refreshments and a charcuterie board available to snack on during that time!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
During the ceremony please be prepared for an unplugged wedding experience. The bride and groom respectfully ask that everyone be prepared to turn off all electronic devices and refrain from taking pictures or videos throughout the ceremony. Here with us today is an amazing wedding photographer who will be capturing the day we share together. These wonderful photos will be available to you in their entirety afterward.
