We're Getting Married!

Eric and Erica met while both behind bars in the county jail. No, no, it's not exactly what you're thinking. Erica claims that Eric fumbled with a stack of papers on a desk in an attempt to give his number to her. Eric claims he was a smooth operator. They continue and always will stick to their stories. Less than a week later Erica showed up late to their first date (Eric's uber rating took a hit). The offer of a date with a small group of friends was the plan. All of Eric's friends canceled. Erica had the courage to still go on a date. (Erica swears he never actually invited my friends). They had a great evening filled with old fashioned's, wine and great food. Each would later admit they knew the other was special. Erica did meet a close friend of Eric's later that evening (Enzo, the wedding officiant) so Eric wasn't trying to trick Erica after all! Then, COVID struck them both. Being stuck at their homes, they got to know each other over the next 2 weeks. They probably fit 6 months of conversation into two weeks! The rest is history.
