Some of my fav things to do __ Swim - Blackrock for a swim/jump Sauna, Sea, Cold Plunge - Driftwood Sauna in Spiddal Bookstore Browsing - Charlie Byrne's Bookstore Traditional Irish Music - The Crane, Tigh Coili, O'Connors Salthill, The Quays Shops/Pubs - Quay Street is best for this, get a pint and sit outside Tigh Neachtain Galway Races - Irish horse-racing festival, starts on July 28th and runs for 7 days
Highly recommend driving West to Connemara - the beaches, people and scenery are amazing! ___ Oughterard - make a stop at Sullivans Grocer, very wholesome (get the Focaccia) Roundstone - special place, get a pint and fish & chips at O'Dowd's Dogs Bay & Gurteen Beach - horseshoe-shaped double beach. Swim, swim Killary Harbor - cool little Fjord situation Glassilaun Beach - one of the best views from any beach I’ve been to Kylemore Abbey - visit the walled garden Ballynahinch Castle - grab lunch at the pub and view the grounds (stay here if you can) Aran Islands - recommend going to Inis Mor (largest of the 3 islands). Option to get boat/fly Diamond Hill - nice hike, get lunch at Misunderstood Heron
