How We Met

Junior Year, 2012

We met through a mutual friend in high school. One day, we both went to Yogurt My Way on Miracle Mile with the mutual friend. We were finally introduced after knowing about each other for months. We sat and talked and had a great time. Eventually we had to go, with the feeling of not wanting to go. We exchanged numbers and began to build a solid, trusting relationship.

Dating

December 2016

Flash forward 4 years later, and we still are in touch after college life, stressful times, and living in different parts of the state. Nothing could keep us apart for very long and we eagerly picked back up where we left off in high school. Finally, we decided "this is meant to be" and made it official.

The Proposal

February 2020

We started the night with dinner and a car ride with 90's throwback music; our favorite type of date. Somehow (prearranged by him, unbeknownst to her) we made it back to Miracle Mile, in the same spot we had met many years before. After a heartfelt moment, he popped the question and, of course, she said yes.
