Question

Do we have to provide proof of vaccination or negative antigen test?

Answer

Please be prepared to provide government issued identification (health card, driver's licence, birth certificate, passport, or PR card) upon arrival alongside your proof of full vaccination OR negative rapid antigen test result (must be within 48 hours of the event). Accepted proof of vaccination includes: 1) paper or electronic vaccination receipt 2) a downloaded or printed copy of one's vaccination status which may be obtained through the COVID-19 vaccination provincial portal or obtained by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Like at 1-833-943-3900 3) guests whom are visitors to Ontario will be required to show proof of full vaccination as issued in their province or county of origin. **Entry will be permitted if the guest's name and DOB on their ID document matches the name and DOB on the guest's vaccination confirmation. Wristbands will be given at point of entry and must be worn at all times as proof of entry qualifications.**

Who are exempt from providing proof of vaccination and antigen rapid test?

Answer

1) Children 11 years of age or younger are exempt. 2) Guests with a medical exemption. Such individuals are required to present ID and a written document stating the individual is exempt for a medical reason. Such documentation may only be supplied by a physician (designated as an "MD") or by a registered nurse in the extended class (designated as a Registered Nurse Extended Class "RN(EC)" or Nurse Practitioner "NP")

Where can I get an antigen rapid test?

Answer

Antigen rapid tests are available at Shoppers Drug Mart for $40. You will receive your test results within 15 minutes. Please call ahead to your local Shoppers Drug Mart to make an appointment. You may also contact your local independent pharmacy for the test. Please note antigen tests are different from PCR tests. Our venue ONLY requires antigen tests.

What Covid-19 measures will you have on your wedding day?

Answer

We are honoring all government COVID-19 public health measures. All events of the day will be hosted indoors with proper guidelines and social distancing that each facility will present. Prior to the day, we will collect guests full names and phone numbers for contact tracing purposes. Masks and face coverings are mandatory for all events of the day. Please read below Q&A. We will have temperature checks at the door of each event as each guest arrives, if venue permits. We encourage guests who are attending to be fully vaccinated with the exception of kids under 12 years of age and those with medical conditions. If you have the following symptoms on the day of the event: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, runny nose, loss of taste or smell, not feeling well, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea, we ask you to please stay home to protect yourself and others We will continue to provide government COVID updates on this FAQ and by emails.

What are the requirements for masks and face coverings?

Answer

All guests are required to wear a mask or face covering during the events except when and where permitted to remove (i.e. eating, taking photos with us, and photobooths). Masks must cover ones mouth, nose and chin. "Mingle Masks" are not considered appropriate face coverings. Face shields may be worn in combination with a mask but are not considered appropriate face coverings if worn alone. We will provide face masks for anyone who requires a new one.

What Covid-19 measures will you have for your reception?

Answer

All public health and safety protocols must be followed at all times. Social distancing will be enforced. Please be cognitive of your surroundings and maintain a distance of 6ft. from others at all times even while masks are worn. All reception tables will be spaced 9ft. apart with no more than 10 guests per table. We will provide hand sanitizer at each table and will have extra face masks if anyone should require a new one. Mingling between guests is not permitted and is strictly prohibited. Guests are required to stay at their assigned seats throughout the event festivities. Exceptions are applied. All venue staff will wear masks. Gloves will be worn where required. The venue is responsible for monitoring and enforcing COVID procedures as outlined by the government. All guests are required to do their part to comply with such mandates. Please respect the venues role in keeping everyone safe.

What Covid-10 measures will you have for your ceremony?

Answer

All public health and safety protocols must be followed at all times. Social distancing will be enforced. Please be cognitive of your surroundings and maintain a distance of 6ft. from others at all times even while masks are worn. Guests are to be seated with their families and 6 ft. apart from other families/individuals. The Church is responsible for monitoring and enforcing COVID procedures as outlined by the government. All guests are required to do their part to comply with such mandates. Please respect the venues role in keeping everyone safe.

Will dancing be permitted?

Answer

Dancing will be permitted after dinner as long as we have a maximum capacity of 175 guests. Masks and face coverings are mandatory on the dance floor.

How will we take photos with the bride and groom while following COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

We will arrange for guests to take photos with us, and/or with bridal party and parents by tables. Guests will be allowed to temporarily remove their masks for the photos.

Answer

If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, A gift of money in a card would really make our day! We've been together for a few years now; We have pots and pans and linens and towels; We have glasses and toasters, really quite a few; So instead of more gifts, we suggest this to you; If it doesn't offend and make you feel funny; But what we would really appreciate is quite simply money; We know choosing gifts can be such a pain; And this way there is no chance of anyone bringing the same!

Doors open at 1:30pm. Please arrive at the latest 1:45pm to be seated as Ceremony starts at 2:00pm.

Please look your best and be comfortable -- just no workout gear. We want our guests to relax and enjoy.
