Maid of Honor
Courtney and I met while working in Miami, I had just recently moved in from the Dominican Republic and had no friends in the city. We bonded over Taco Tuesday's outings, blocking parking spaces in front of the office building and IPic movie dates. I even nicknamed her Sparkie, she’s always full of energy, happy and her charm can light up a room.
Best Man
Eric and I grew up a block away from each other and never knew it till later on in life. He and I were instant friends come kindergarten. He had the coolest action figures, laser tag, and his mom made pressed pb&j sandwiches which blew my mind. After third grade, my mom pulled me out of the school that Eric and I were growing up in, and it seemed like I'd never see my friend again, but life carried on. We reunited freshman year of High School, and as destiny would have it, Eric and I both became interested in performing arts. And therefore, found a lot of time to spend together. Too much in fact. People would think something was wrong if Eric wasn't walking the halls with me, or hanging out with me after school. We were inseparable. It's not often that you find a lifelong friend, but with Eric, it just came easy.
Matron of Honor
My name is Billie Ewing and I am Courtney's sister-in-law. I met the bride in June of 2009 during my first visit to Memphis. Courtney was very sweet, thoughtful and made me feel like family from the very beginning. We bonded during nights filled with laughter in the midst of pain. She has always been so supportive and encouraging to me. An all around beautiful person inside and out and I am so glad to share this journey with her and proud to call her my sister!

September 2008--Chicago, IL--McCabe Dormitory 3rd FL.-- My Parents had just left to drive back to Baltimore after unpacking all my things and dropping me off to DePaul University for my freshman year of college. I was holding it together but deep down inside I was lonely and scared. I heard some noise down the hall and I opened my door to check out where it was coming from....and there was Courtney dressed to the nines, skin glowing, and wearing a big smile. I said "Hey Girl!" and she said, "Hey Girl!!!!" and the rest is history. We've figured out how to have fun with little to no resources, figured out how to be women hundreds of miles from our families...whatever the task we always figured it out. Eric--I say this with unwavering confidence-- you are her person, and I am so excited to watch you two FIGURE OUT the biggest chapter of your lives yet!
Groomsman
I met Eric while working at a 4-star lounge in Chicago in 2016 when eric had just moved back to Chicago. He was looking for a part-time gig while able to freely work his music gigs. We immediately hit it off and would constantly hang out at the Wilde Hare just up the street from where we worked. We bonded over great whiskey and great music. Eric introduced me to Courtney a few weeks after they started dating and told me he was going to marry her. I met her a few months later and knew he was not kidding. Courtney is a fine example of a Southern Belle. Such a warm and inviting person. I cant wait to celebrate their big day!!

My name is Ilysha Minor and I have been friends with Courtney since 2008! We met at our college orientation at DePaul University. During orientation- the professor said something, and we both laughed out loud…. But nobody else did we looked at each other in confirmation like yea that was funny! And kept laughing. After that, we saw each other again in the lunchroom, exchanged numbers, and have been friends ever since! We’ve grown up together, traveled, laughed, cried, you name it! 13 years of friendships and counting! Friends turned sisters! An unbreakable bond! Forever! I can’t wait to stand by her side!

Stephen Tobin and his wife, Becky, live in Fort Worth, Texas, with their two dogs, Toby and Hero. Stephen is an attorney who handles business transactions and enjoys cooking, cigars, bourbon, live music, and the New Orleans Saints. Though originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Stephen met Eric in Tucson, Arizona, where Stephen was in law school at the University of Arizona. The two played in an electronic percussion ensemble together and learned they have several friends in common through the world of percussion. It didn’t take long for the two to develop a deep friendship, which has only grown over the years.
Bridesmaid
Hannah Hines: bridesmaid, francophile, rescue dog enthusiast. Oldest rivals and bestest frenemies, Eric and I have been in competition for our parents’ attention since 1986. Jokes aside…having known him all my life, I can say with expert certainty that my brother has never been happier, healthier, or more self-aware since meeting Courtney. For these reasons alone, I wholeheartedly support this union. That Courtney is such a gorgeous, genuine, gem of a woman is icing on the cake - and that I get a sister out of the deal is the cherry on top. I feel blessed beyond words to have these two beautiful humans in my life, am honored to be a part of their special day, and apologize in advance for ugly-crying at their wedding.

I have known Eric my whole life, given I am his younger brother. I’m fortunate to have grown beside him. If there’s anything Eric has taught me it is how to make important decisions and commit yourself 100% to whatever you do. I first met Courtney at a Chicago White Sox game a few years ago. I found her to be pleasantly easy to talk to and it didn’t take long for me to tell how genuine of a person she truly is. The connection between Eric and Courtney was also not hard to notice. I’ve never seen my brother so happy in my life. I’m excited to see what the future has in store for them as they both start this beautiful next chapter in their lives.
