This is one of the most popular breweries in San Diego. We love coming here with a group of friends to hang out and enjoy their delicious beer on tap. Celina loves their Grapefruit Sculpin.
Cutwater's canned cocktails are very popular throughout California, and they distill their spirits at this very location. Celina's favorites are the White Russian and Rum Mint Mojito. Eric is a huge fan of the Cucumber Vodka Soda.
This is a world-renowned restaurant originating in Taiwan that specializes in soup dumplings and noodles. Eric really knows his way around the menu thanks to his mom who grew up in Taiwan!
This bar is known for its rooftop view overlooking the beach, but we liked to come here right when it opened for the delicious chorizo queso, before the day got super crazy.
Just a 10 minute walk from our North Park apartment, we came here at least weekly and miss it every day. Eric once asked the chef for the spiciest Massaman Curry they could make him. That was a mistake. He prefers it just "Thai Spicy" now.
We've spent way too many brunches here enjoying their bottomless mimosas, chicken wings, and waffle fries. They also have a fantastic DJ playing funk music all throughout brunch!
A Valentine's Day favorite of ours, this sushi restaurant specializes in Omakase. Everything is prepared super fresh, right in front of you, with a custom menu.
We absolutely LOVE Stella Jean's. Our favorite flavor is their S'mores, as the batter perfectly captures the smokiness and stretch of toasted marshmallows. Other popular flavors are Ube & Pandesal Toffee.
This is a pizza spot, but has the best smash burger we've have ever tried. It's only $5 and is so incredible that it's our first stop every time we visit San Diego.
We once thought it'd be a fun idea to go laser tagging here but then promptly felt weird when it was just us with a bunch of kids. It's got rollercoasters, arcade games, and all that you could want from a fair!
We took Celina's parents on the beautiful ferry ride from the Gaslamp Quarter over the San Diego Bay to Coronado, a resort city spanning the peninsula. The Coronado Ferry Landing has shops, restaurants and a small beach. Nearby, Centennial Park offers San Diego skyline views.
The Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego has lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, and beautiful views of the San Diego Bay. It's a fun place to spend a date night as there's plenty of places to hop around!
We've never actually been here despite it being just two miles from our old apartment, but it's a popular tourist destination so here it is!
This is where Eric got down on one knee! You can enjoy watching the seals and sea lions sunbathe while marveling in the breathtaking ocean views.
