Question

What is cosplay?

Answer

Cosplay involves dressing up as a character from film, TV, books or comic books. It can be a generic character (Starfleet ensign) or a specific one (Darth Vader/Anikin Skywalker). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXbXNV9-ZAg

Question

Do I have to wear a costume?

Answer

No. “Wedding Guest” is an appropriate cosplay. There are enough romantic comedies out there that you’ll be cosplaying someone!

Question

My cosplay character normally wears white, is this a problem?

Answer

No. If your character is known for a white outfit, wear it! Trust me, everyone will know who the bride is (and she won't be in white)!

Question

Are there cosplay outfits I should not attempt?

Answer

Please keep the cosplay clean (PG-13) as there will be several children and one 100 yr old Catholic nun in attendance. We also request no firearms (real or fake) and any edged weapons must be peace tied.

Question

I have dietary restrictions. How can I get them accommodated?

Answer

The menu is already planning to accommodate gluten free and nut free. If you want to see the full menu and ingredient list prior to the wedding, contact us and we’ll provide it. If you would still like to bring your own food to be safe, just let us know.
