Honestly, our “how we met” story is a little embarrassing — but here it goes. Bre moved to a tiny town where the only place to spot eligible men was the local Ace Hardware (yikes). After some convincing from friends, she finally gave in and downloaded a dating app. That’s where she swiped right on Eric… and they truly haven’t stopped talking since. Bre always thought she was unmatched in her ability to talk until the paint dried — until Eric came along and proved he could talk long enough to make the paint peel right back off. Eric willingly sacrificed hours of sleep to spend time with Bre, driving over an hour from his house any chance he could — to hang out, stop by, or just visit for a little while. Our relationship grew fast and full, built on pricing jobs, learning about machines, greyhounds and horses, bush hooks and bow fishing — with countless adventures in between. Over the last five years, we’ve shared some of the highest highs and walked through some of the lowest lows. There is truly no one else we would choose to face life’s trials with, which is exactly why we chose to celebrate our love this way — with an elopement, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
