When and where is the wedding ceremony?

Our wedding will take place on June 7, 2025, at Calvin University's chapel in Grand Rapids, MI.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for parking and to find your seat.

Is there parking available at the Chapel?

Answer

Where will the reception be?

Answer

The reception is located at the Prince Conference Center. This is also located on Calvin's campus, just a different building. Parking is available at the Prince Center. The address is 1800 East Beltline SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average temperature in Grand Rapids in June for a typical day ranges from a high of 76°F (24°C) to a low of 57°F (14°C). Some would describe the temperature to be mildly cool. The general area may also feel breezy.

Where should I stay?

We recommend the Sheraton located at 5700 28th St Se, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49546 Book through our room block by May 8th to get your room for $125. PS - I visited it recently and it's reallllyyy nice!

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! Cocktail hour will start be from 3-4 pm. Please enjoy beer, wine and appetizers during this time. The reception will begin at 4pm and dinner will be served.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests not indicated in the invitation.

The wedding will be a grown-ups only event.

Yes! Bring your best moves.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony, but feel free to snap away at the reception! We have a professional photographer and will share photos once available.

What should I do if I can't attend?

We will miss you! Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
