Travel Note
We recognize that Castillo del Buen Amor is a little bit off of the beaten path and will be arranging a coach bus to ferry guests to and from Madrid's City Center. If you're looking to spend more time in Salamanca or the surrounding areas, you may want to consider traveling by train or renting a vehicle. Multiple trains per day travel between Madrid and Salamanca with travel time ranging between 1hr45min and 2.5hr. From Madrid it's a short taxi or Uber ride to the castle! Vehicles can be easily rented from the Madrid airport and a European driver's license is not required. More information regarding the coach bus transportation will be announced later but please let us know if you have questions in the meantime.
