What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire! We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us!

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4 PM and we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early. Cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing will follow. The reception will end at 10 PM but you can leave earlier if need be!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcomed but we please ask that if they get fussy during the ceremony (will be held outside), for you to sit with them inside the venue.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a large parking lot.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We please ask that no photos/videos are taken during our ceremony. We would like for our guests to be present with us as we say our vows. We have hired a professional photographer to capture this moment. There will be a link provided for you to see and download photos online. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!

How do I get to the venue if I don't have a vehicle?

Answer

There unfortunately are not a lot of transportation options in Lake Lure, NC. There are several hotels and cabin rentals in walking distance of the venue. There is a shuttle that can transport you from the Asheville Regional Airport to the town of Lake Lure. We have provided the link with further information under the "travel" tab. Our family and friends can help with transportation if needed. Please just let us know in advance so we can make arrangements!
