Why Oak Lodge?

Answer

We only visited one venue and when we stepped out of the car, we both said "yep, this is the one." It fits our personalities perfectly. It is down to earth, relaxing, scenic, and peaceful. We wanted a place where we could have every event and with food included. It is also a bed and breakfast, so we are able to come back and reminisce. We have had many dinner date nights up at Oak Lodge leading up to our special day.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress, dressy separates or a suit and tie. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers.

Buffet or Plated Dinner?

Answer

Neither. We will be doing family style dining. You all are our family and our support system, so let’s eat like a family!

Will there be a Pittsburgh Cookie Table?

Answer

100% (please be cautious if you have any specific allergies)

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Why not! But you will be made fun of if the opportunity presents itself.

Is there transportation arranged?

Answer

Sadly no. If you are driving, please drive safe and watch for deer. There is plenty of parking at our venue. Oak Lodge is only 20 minutes from Latrobe.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all the sweet children in our lives, our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only, with the exception of the immediate family.
