Eric is an Albany County Sheriffs Deputy. Eric enjoys fitness, good food, learning IT stuff, video games, watching YouTube, learning about the stock market and perfecting his barista skills. Eric spoils Alexis every single day by making her a latte and packing her lunch for work. Eric has a soft spot for cats, lots of cats.
Maid of Honor
Tori B! Tori is Alexis’s youngest sister. They share an alma mater of St. Lawrence University. If you know Tori you know she is hilarious! This girl needs her own podcast, so the world can hear her funny stories. Tori is my maid of honor for so many reasons, and I am so thankful to have her by my side!
Best Man
Colin and Eric have been best friends since middle school. Together these two have lifted many weights, watched hundreds of movies, and eaten lots of sushi. During their time at Jimco they would talk about their million dollar ideas while painting roofs on hot summer days. Every Sunday night it was tradition that they go to the Prendergast and eat them out of house and home. Through thick and thin, their friendship has always stayed true. Eventually Colins path lead him to California and Erics in New York. And even though the two are now separated by thousands of miles, true friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart.
Bridesmaid
Codie and Alexis work together in the MICU. She is one of the smartest nurses in the hospital. Whenever Alexis needs to vent, Codie is there. You can always count on Codie to listen and give good life advice. Codie needed to be a bridesmaids because she is without a doubt the life of the party.
Groomsman
Some friendships are developed over a long period of time, and some are instantaneous. When Alexis told Eric about her friend’s fiancée’s love for all things coffee and crypto, he knew he had to meet the guy. Over beer and oysters, a lifelong friendship was made. Together the two have gone to numerous coffee shops and lost thousands in crypto, but as they always say, got to keep them diamond hands. Jon is a great guy and even better friend and with any luck this friendship will brew a lot more stories and even more shots of espresso.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Alexis have been friends since Alexis's first nursing job at St. Peter's Hospital. Rachel is a kind souled individual who happens to know where the best German restaurant is in New Paltz. One time while eating schnitzel Rachel and Alexis triaged a motorcycle crash in front on the restaurant. Rachel is always down for a hangout and during the pandemic Rachel, Alexis and Eric’s mom Vicky had weekly craft nights.
Groomsman
Kevin and Eric have been best friends since the middle school days. Whether we were competing sports together, riding bikes in the village, or playing pranks in church, the two have had a long history of debauchery. When the two graduated high school they went their separate ways, one off to the military and the other to police academy. Eventually the two got in touch again, got a beer together, and reminisced about the old days, only to realize that neither of them have changed a bit. Friends like Kevin are hard to come by and worth keeping around for a lifetime.
Bridesmaid
Stacy and Alexis met in the MICU and share an alma mater in Utica College. Stacy is a bridesmaid because she's my role model. Stacy is not only super smart but also kind. Stacy is the hostess with the mostest and is basically a master chef, whipping up everything from dumplings to gingersnaps. Stacy is engaged to Jon (a groomsman). As a couple, Eric & Alexis spend many nights at Jon & Stacy's house playing Catan and eating homemade pizza.
Groomsman
Eric and Jay grew up together with very different interests. Jay being outgoing and outdoorsy while Eric keeping to himself and out of the sun. Separated by 4 years of age, Jay has still always managed to be there as an older brother. Whether it was advice on how to talk to girls, throw a football, or deal with family drama, he was there to help. There will always be many people in our lives, but there are certain things only a brother can understand. And if there is one thing Eric is certain of, it's that Jay is a great older brother but he's going to be even better uncle one day.
Bridesmaid
These two became friends while working together in the MICU and share a love for delicious food and cocktails! Alexis knew this friendship was going to be great, after having a few glasses of Helen's blood orange brandy punch while playing Catan. On days off, the two enjoy meeting up for a hot yoga class. Helen is also recently engaged! Helen and her fiancé Mike recently purchased a house In Latham. Helen’s dad now calls Alexis “hammer girl” after Helen and Alexis spent a day pulling little nails out of her floor.
Bridesmaid
Sabrina is Alexis's middle sister. She is currently working at WPTZ in South Burlington, Vermont. She loves to dance so I’m sure you’ll see her bust a move at our wedding!
