Eric and Abby met on their first day of college at UC San Diego in Math 10A discussion. Eric wore Adidas soccer sweatpants and Abby wore an outfit she probably spent too much time on. They struck up a conversation and ended up sitting next to each other. Abby secretly watched Eric take a derivative and made a mental note to never ask Eric for help with Calculus. The two began dating in May 2015, brought together by mutual friends and their love of footy. 

Fast forward to present-day 2023: Eric and Abby are happily engaged and the proud parents of a toothless cat, Smoki. Fortunately, neither are working in the mathematics field. Eric works for Amgen and Abby is completing her Doctorate of Optometry in May 2024. They are very excited to celebrate this next chapter with their closest friends and family.
