Do I have to wear my reception dress to the church?

Answer

NO- this is completely up to you!!! Feel free to wear something less formal. You’ll have more than enough time to go home, relax & change if you want?

What should I do between the church & reception?

Answer

So many options! You’ll have about 4 hours between the church & reception (if you decide to attend the church). 1. Go home & relax! 2. Have lunch 3. Find a friend & hang out! There are so many local people that live only 5-10 minutes from the church. Burgers: All American Asian: Tai Show Best Diner: Massapequa Diner Italian: Bacarro (in Massapequa; has great salads) Seafood: Lobster Shack or the Clam Shack Irish: Wantagh Inn It is the end of June so more than likely we’ll want to spend time outside enjoying the warm weather!

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes! Sort of... the cocktail hour is outside, but there are shade tent options and the reception/dinner is in a pavilion- so you get amazing waterfront views without the sun blazing down.

Will I get beautiful sunset pictures?

Answer

That’s the goal!!! That night sun sets later around 8pm! Perfect time to get some beautiful sunset photos over the lake!

Do I have to stay over?

Answer

You can do whatever you want! Stay or go- completely up to you. We just want you to have fun!!!

Is there a train station near the church or reception?

Answer

YES! Seaford LIRR Station on the Babylon line is only 2 blocks from the church. Oakdale LIRR Station is only a 5 minute Uber ride from the Wedding Venue/ Reception
