We both had our own reasons for taking up improv, but we both found ourselves studying at the Magnet theater. After Mikey had been a part of the Magnet for three years, and Erica was there for just three months, we met one night while going to see a show named Inspirado. We were Facebook friends for a month when we spent a Saturday evening watching improv shows and eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from 7-11. The next day, it was pizza and more shows. By the next night, we were officially a couple. We had spent most nights of the week together, either going to the movies, seeing shows at the Magnet or hanging out at each other's homes, with the occasional Shakespearean play. After three years of dating, it was time to take the next step. We planned a casual get together in Central Park with friends, at least Erica thought it was casual. After a picnic in Sheep's meadow, we went to Bethesda Fountain where Mikey got down on one knee and proposed.
