Sun Valley sits at a 5,750 feet above sea level, and while the views are breathtaking, the elevation can sneak up on you! To help you feel your best while celebrating with us: Hydrate often – the dry mountain air means your body needs more water than usual. Sunscreen is a must – even on cloudy days, the higher altitude means stronger UV rays. Bring your favorite SPF and reapply throughout the day. Take it easy the first day – give your body a little time to adjust to the altitude, especially if you're flying in from sea level. We want you to enjoy every moment — from mountain views to dance floor moves — so thank you for taking care of yourselves while you're here!
Sun Valley offers a free bus system to help you explore town! Whether you're heading to town, local shops and restaurants, the Mountain Rides buses have you covered. You can find routes, times, and maps here: www.mountainrides.org Important Note: While the buses go to many popular spots, they do not go to the wedding venue. We've arranged private transportation to get you there and back! Please make sure to catch one of the scheduled wedding shuttles — we’ll share exact pickup times and locations closer to the big day.
Please be sure to follow all posted speed limits, especially on the smaller roads leading into and around town. The local police are present and active, and yes — they will pull you over. Thank you for driving carefully and helping us celebrate responsibly!
