The Dillard “I Do” Covenant

We went to high school together we met in biology class in the 10th grade. I will never forget when I wrote him a letter expressing how I felt and I wanted to be his girlfriend. I folded the letter up and gave it to my cousin to give to him he denied and definitely left me hanging. We stayed friends during high school and a year after we graduated. I remember riding down history on my way to pick up my friend, and I had a doughnut on my tire when I passed his house him and his friends were standing outside and stopped me. He walked up to my car and started joking. Me because I had a doughnut, he didn’t say if I come back the next day, he was gonna fix my tire. Needless to say I didn’t come back the next day. We didn’t see each other again until three years later and from that day, I received a letter from him expressing his feelings and it was history from that point. Now here we are four kids later and 15 years down line approaching one of the most important days of our life where we share the same last name under God friends and family history is being made.
