ERICA’S POINT OF VIEW. It’s crazy how we both thought we would never find our soul mate. Scrolling through Bumble day after day to find one frog after the other. Then one day that all changed. I saw a shower picture of Tyler making a goofy face all lathered up and I knew I needed to know more( only his torso and face, don’t be nasty). As we kept talking Tyler was so respectful, kind and consistent. He was very interested in what I was doing and how I was doing. He passed up all the competition with flying colors. Our first date was in a park just walking laps around the baseball fields. I knew I wanted to get to know him. His energy so sweet and loving. After 2 weeks of talking he asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. Tyler has proved he is my one and only. I have never felt so scared and happy at the same time. I feel so safe both mentally and physically with my baby. I am excited to start our new journey, I FINALLY FOUND MY PRINCE TYLER’S POINT OF VIEW Meeting your wife on a dating app…. Who does that? We do apparently! Truth be told I had been through countless attempts of romance and got my heart broken time after time, failure after failure. Blind date after blind date, excited followed by disappointment. I had given up, was accepting my life as forever single. I was in process of deleting my Bumble app when I saw erica had liked me. I went through her bio without much effort and in all honesty I was halfway through swiping no. “This is going to be like the rest of them why bother” What a mistake that would have been!! I brought her back on screen went through and truly paid attention and what I saw was an obvious yes! Someone who looked genuine. Someone with real passion in their eyes, a spark for adventure and most importantly someone who wasn’t using keywords to lure people in…. Just…. A projection of an ACTUAL person… who seemed… so happy!! We started talking and it took no time at all to see she was something special and serious. Conversation turned to laughter, laughter turned to excitement, excitement turned into anticipation. Anticipation turned into “don’t screw this up!!” As we got to know each other the small world encounters started piling up, we grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same school…. Know a lot of similar people…And we NEVER knew each other! What are the odds? I’ve never been a lucky man, I don’t win drawings… I don’t gamble and if I have a 50/50 choice, it’s usually wrong…. But I landed Erica and feel like the luckiest person! 2 weeks into talking I asked her to be my girlfriend giving her a stuffed shark after dinner at yard house, and after 4 months together I knew she was going to be my wife…. Mark the one year anniversary and out came the ring! The rest has yet to be written, but I full heartedly can’t wait and couldn’t be happier!
