We're Getting Married!

We had been friends for awhile but knew there was more to explore. We planned a trip for Travis to come out to California and visit me while I was finishing up my senior year of college. We took a road trip up to the redwood forest/northern California/Oregon border and spent the most awesome weekend together. From there Travis asked me to be his girlfriend. I moved to Austin, Texas (where he lived) and the rest is history.

It all started with a trip to Kauai. We wanted to go on an adventurous walk, so we decided to hike the Na'Pali coast. The walk in was 4.5 miles. We get to Hanakapiai Falls and are welcomed with a 300 foot waterfall. By the time we sat down and ate our sandwiches and chips, the entire place emptied out. We had it to ourselves! Travis pretended to grab something out of his backpack, went down to one knee, and asked the magical question, "Will you marry me?". I was so excited I think I almost passed out.
