Erica and I met around 2.5 years ago through our mutual friends Sammy and Chloe. They set us up on 'blind" date and the rest is history.

After much collaboration with Erica's parents (Oscar and Deb) and sister (Melly); Erica and I had our engagement last August on a family reunion trip. We went out to dinner, on the ocean, with her family (Oscar, Deb, and Melly). While we were eating her cousins snuck down and planted a sign along the board walk. After dinner we took a walk down the board walk until Erica saw a sign that read "life together forever" and I proceeded to propose. She had no idea, as I had planned a fake trip for October where she thought I would propose then. Likely the only and also last time I'll be able surprise her. ( I always seem to let things slip out;) )
