We're Getting Married

Erica and Samuel's love story began online back in 2012. Erica's roommates at the time had both met their significant others online and they encouraged her to give it a try. Little did she know, the man she would one day marry had been trying online dating for a while and was about to give up. But in the end, the timing was perfect! One Sunday night in July, Erica came across a photo of Samuel on the Plenty of Fish website that made her laugh and she decided to reach out. Erica and Samuel talked for about a week and then met for coffee at Starbucks for their first date. It was full of laughs and great conversation and soon led to more adventures. 6 years worth of memories later and they’ve traveled to New York City and Chicago, as well as Iowa and Nebraska to watch their beloved Jayhawks. One of Erica and Samuel's favorite places though will always be Allen Fieldhouse (Rock Chalk!) On September 15, 2018, Samuel popped the question at home after a day at the movies followed by a romantic Italian dinner. Of course Erica said yes and now they can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
