Both the ceremony and reception will be held at BLDG39 Philadelphia. - located at 5401 Tacony St. BLDG 39, Philadelphia, PA 19137. Shuttles service will be provided to and from the Hotel Monaco, Holiday Inn Express, and Center City Mariott to ensure our guests get to and from the celebration safely and on time. If you prefer to drive, there is also an on-site parking lot available at the venue.
Guests may begin arriving at 4:15 pm. Beer wine, and other light refreshments will be served at the outdoor bar upon arrival. We ask that everyone be at the venue no later than 4:45pm, when the staff will begin to usher everyone inside the venue to get seated and ready to start our ceremony at 5pm.
We want everyone to feel comfortable, have fun, and celebrate with us in style! Our dress code is semi-formal to cocktail attire, but above all we encourage our guests to wear something that makes you feel your best. While completely optional, we encourage everyone to to bring a vibrant pashmina shawl in place of (or in addition to) a traditional shawl or cover up. Due to our shared love for music festivals, pashminas hold special meaning to us and our love story.
Our ceremony will be held indoors. Following the ceremony, the venue's garage doors will open for an outdoor cocktail hour while the indoor area is prepped for dinner and dancing. Our guests will be encouraged to enjoy both indoor and outdoor space throughout the rest of the evening.
Guests can expect generally comfortable, early- fall weather-- warm afternoons, cooler evenings, and a good chance of beautiful outdoor conditions. We recommend to bring a light layer for after sunset. Please see dress code section for suggestions on layering.
Plus ones will be specifically indicated on each guest's invitation. If your invitation does not include a plus one but you would like to bring a guest, please reach out to us directly. We'll do our best to accommodate when possible, depending on space. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our celebration as intimate as possible- we can't wait to celebrate with you!
We are so grateful for all of the families in our lives, and we truly adore your little ones. To allow us to celebrate comfortably with all of our guests given limited capacity, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We hope you can enjoy a night off to relax, dine, and dance away the evening with us!
No need to choose between chicken or fish.. We are excited to share that dinner will be a little less traditional and a lot more fun! Instead of a formal plated meal, we'll be served hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and desert by the amazing Clean Plate Club food truck. They focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative, flavorful dishes made to order. There will be a variety of options available to suit all tastes and dietary preferences, so everyone can find something they'll love. It's a relaxed, interactive dining experience that lets you enjoy great food while allowing more time spent dancing with us! Please reach out to us directly with any specific dietary restrictions or food allergies so that we can be sure to alert the chef ahead of the big day.
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and reception offering beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alc options.
We are so blessed to already have everything we need to build a life together. Because of this we have decided to forgo a traditional gift registry. Your presence is truly the greatest present you could give to us. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can find our honeymoon fund here on our website under the "Registry" tab.
